Because they play an important part for the Biodôme animals, and because they are very valuable for the animal care technicians : we are bringing back our piñata making activity!  

Make papier mâché piñatas for the Biodôme animals! This improves the physical and mental well-being of captive animals, by offering them more opportunities to make choices. At the workshop, a Biodôme animal care technician will tell you more about all the benefits, before giving the piñatas to the animals in your presence! 

Join us to take part in their thriving while spending a great time, for children and adults alike! 

Day: Saturday and Sunday 15-16 and 22-23 February 

Time: from 10am to 11.30 am and from 1.30pm to 3pm 

Capacity: 320 (40 members per time slot) 

Minimum recommended age: 5 and over

It’s snowing at the Biodôme!

The Biodôme Capybaras

You love them, they are some of your favourite Biodôme animals… Come and learn everything about capybaras! Find out more about their habitat, their behaviour, their diet and their everyday life, that all make capybaras the fascinating creatures that they are. Join us online to better understand and like these large rodents who are part of the Biodôme’s biodiversity!

Musical Holidays

Come and put some magic in your festive season at the Biodôme!  

On this occasion, let yourself be charmed by the Violon Dingue, a storyteller and violin player who will perform traditional carols to a tune of techno rigadoons! Join us for a musical and friendly party to start the Festive Season!

Nocturnal Life in the Biodôme

Dive into the fascinating world of the animals who wake up at nightfall. In this lecture, you will meet the Biodôme’s nocturnal animals, discovering their intriguing behaviours and their unique faculty to adapt to night-time life. Please join us online to learn how these species survive and thrive in the darkness!

A Night at the Biodôme

Falling asleep to the slow waltz of sturgeons and jellyfish… Being woken up at daybreak by the calling of the macaws or a playful river otter… The Friends of the Biodôme are inviting you to set up camp in the ecosystems! For one night, live a memorable experience, including a backstage tour of the Biodôme and a night spent in an ecosystem. 

Day: from Friday to Saturday8-9 and 22-23 November 

Time: from 6.45pm to the next day, 8.30am 

Capacity: 60 members per night 

MANDATORY Age : 6 and over

Please be aware that, due to the high level of booking, the capacity limits, and the substantial resources needed, booking will be done by random draw.
