Discover how our scientists explore and understand biodiversity at the Biodôme, what are the ongoing research projects, and the latest discoveries that broaden our knowledge of ecosystems! Join us to find out how these studies contribute to species conservation, to the improvement of the animals’ condition of life, and to the ecosystem management at the Biodôme.

Falling asleep to the slow waltz of sturgeons and jellyfish… Being woken up at daybreak by the calling of the macaws or a playful river otter… The Friends of the Biodôme are inviting you to set up camp in the ecosystems! For one night, live a memorable experience, including a backstage tour of the Biodôme and a night spent in an ecosystem. 

Day: from Friday to Saturday 9-10 and 16-17 May 

Time: from 6.45pm to the next day, 8.30am 

Capacity: 60 members per night 

MANDATORY Age : 6 and over

Please be aware that, due to the high level of booking, the capacity limits, and the substantial resources needed, booking will be done by random draw.

In 2025, Earth Day will have its 55th occasion! To celebrate our planet and its biodiversity, the Friends of the Biodôme, together with Mission 1000 tonnes, would like to welcome you to our third annual Spring Cleaning! 

When you think about snow melting, you think about spring cleaning! Join us to clean a natural space! Bring your rubber gloves and, all together, let’s clean our environment! A simple, small gesture, but so beneficial to the planet!

Capacity: 50 members 

Minimum recommended age: 8 and over 

Information about booking will be given in our newsletter and on our website at the beginning of 2025. 

Last July, on our social media, we asked you to choose between several scenarios for the next Friends of the Biodôme Escape Game. You have until 30 September 2024 to vote! After that Day, we will create a unique game, from the most popular votes! 

Will you go treasure hunting in the rainforest? Will you solve a puzzle in the deep seas? Will you search for a magical artefact in the cold glaciers? The choice is yours! 

Day : Friday and Saturday 4-5 and 11-12 April 

Time: from 6pm to 7.30pm 

Capacity: 480 (120 members per evening) 

Minimum recommended age: 8 and over

Please book 1 ticket per participant, adults and children. If the numbers of tickets booked is less than the number of people in your group, we will have to refuse access. 

You enjoyed it in 2024, it’s back in 2025! The Friends of the Biodôme Sugar Shack invites you to a unique sugar party to celebrate Spring! Featuring : storytelling, music, maple products tasting, and info about Laurentides Maple Forest ecosystem

In 2024, the Biodôme welcomed new residents in the polar world : chinstrap penguins! 

Explore the fascinating world of these unique sea birds, known for their smart black “chinstrap” that set them apart from other penguins. Discover their behaviours, their natural habitats, and their adaptation to their new environment. Join us online for a gripping dive into the life of chinstrap penguins!
