Bats are misunderstood animals that are often associated with Halloween and myths that send shivers down our spine. However, did you know that bats play a vital role in the health of ecosystems and the control of insect pests? Hosted by Michel Delorme, a biologist and president of the Québec bat recovery team, the presentation will interest all those who are curious about bats and want to know more about these fascinating night creatures!
Would you like to fall asleep mesmerized by the slow dancing of sturgeons and jellyfish? How about waking up early to the sound of chanting macaws or frolicking river otters? The Friends of the Biodôme want you to pitch your tent in one of the ecosystems! During the evening, your unforgettable experience will include a look behind the scenes of the Biodôme followed by a night’s sleep in one of the ecosystems.
Please note that since the activity is extremely popular and is limited in terms of capacity and requires significant resources, the registration process will involve a random draw.*
Those who wish to participate must register for the draw between Monday, October 30 and Friday, November 3, 2023. The draw will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023.
Since this type of activity calls for a lot of resources and planning, unfortunately we can only offer this activity four nights per year.
Calling all adventure seekers! This year, the Biodôme will be shrouded in mystery during Halloween. Start your quest for the cursed treasure once the sun goes down! Be careful, the path will be fraught with danger and you will need every bit of courage and resourcefulness to fulfill your quest. You will be faced with enigmas to solve so your knowledge of Biodôme animals will come in handy. Are you ready for an exciting Biodôme-style diversion?
Reservations required. Stay tuned for all registration details, which will be available in our newsletter!
*Please note that reservations are required to participate in this activity. One ticket per participant must be reserved. If there are more participants than tickets, we reserve the right to refuse access to the activity.
Every child must be accompanied by at least one adult to participate in the activity.
This year, the Friends’ evening is back again! Call your friends and let them take advantage of your Friends of the Biodôme member benefits. This evening is especially for you! Every member can invite a non-member friend* to participate. The program includes access to the Biodôme in the evening, exclusive activities and other fun surprises!
*Every member can invite a non-member. For example, if five people are listed on the MULTI Passport, it is possible to invite up to five non-members, either adults or children, even if the five people listed are not all present at the activity. However, at least one member has to be present.
PLEASE REMEMBER! If you have more guests than the number allowed, we reserve the right to refuse them entry.
